About HiBAR
Ward Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with an emphasis in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 1994. He managed the Uptown Veterinary Clinic from 1995 to 1996 and founded Sojos Pet Food, a manufacturer of natural dog food and treats, in 1996. The company grew to 50+ employees and was acquired by WellPet in 2015. Ward currently co-owns the Parkway Theater in South Minneapolis, and in 2018 co-founded and is currently CEO of HiBAR, a manufacturer of plastic-free beauty products including shampoos and conditioners.
