About Asiya
Jamie was connected to her business partner, Fatimah Hussein (pictured left), and the idea for ASIYA through the Carlson School's Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship while attending the school for her M.B.A. In search of an opportunity to make a positive impact on the world through business, the former collegiate athlete loved the idea of a mission-driven business focused on helping more girls have the opportunity to participate in sports. Along with the stock colors that they sell, ASIYA takes orders for custom hijabs (to match school or team colors and add logos) at hello@asiyasport.com and is excited about the opportunity to work with youth sports organizations, high school school athletic programs, sporting good retailers, and college bookstores!
