About Fin Straw
Emily Ehlert (class of '12) has always loved nature. One of the reasons she chose to attend to the U of M was to enjoy the beautiful Mississippi River and lakes near campus. Following graduation, Emily moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. While there she fell in love with the ocean and became even more passionate about the environment. Now she's selling a portable, reusable stainless steel straw for people to take with them so they never again have to use plastic straws - a major contributor to plastics in our oceans which cause harm to marine life.
