About For Goodness Socks
For Goodness Socks is a Twin Cities-based, social action fashion sock brand committed to bringing light, laughter and a little bit of love to the world, one pair of socks at a time. Our mission is simple: responsibly produce quality products that empower people to support social causes they believe in.
Truly purpose-driven, we donate a portion of our profits to charities and organizations that work to create positive change in the world. For Goodness Socks is fully committed to reducing our environmental footprint by manufacturing our products here in America using sustainable materials and eco-friendly packaging products.

About Melissa
When she’s not designing and selling edgy knitwear, Melissa is practicing dentistry at Spring Creek Dental, her office in Hudson, Wisconsin. Previously, she has been an Associate Adjunct Professor in the School of Dentistry’s Department of Restorative Sciences as well as a professional mentor for students in the College of Biological Sciences' alumni mentorship program. She loves to give back and enjoys volunteering her time at home and abroad. She has partnered with Global Dental Relief to provide dental care to children in Kenya and Cambodia and here at home, she participates in the Minnesota Dental Association's Mission of Mercy events and the ADA’s program, Give Kids a Smile.
