About Thao
Thao studied retail merchandising and business management at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and her first job out of college was with Gap Inc, in San Francisco. While living in San Francisco, she fell in love with the local shopping scene and wanted to bring that sense of community and small shop vibe to Minneapolis, and that’s when the idea of Parc started. After a few years, she left her corporate job, moved back to Minneapolis, and started to work on starting up Parc.
