About Felipa
Hailing from a robust and dynamic Mexican & Cuban heritage byway of North Minneapolis, Felipa Cespedes is an entrepreneurial force to be reckoned with. Being greatly influenced by the applied business sense of her beloved father and the humility and sheer strength of her mother, Felipa founded FotoGenic MN, a photo booth rental company in 2014 and has ushered in exponential growth in this entrepreneurial venture. In addition to all that she learned from her parents, Felipa attributes much of her understanding and passion for business and entrepreneurship to the socioeconomic and sociopolitical knowledge that she gained from her time as a political science student at the UMN Twin-Cities. After completing her bachelor's degree in political science in 2013, Cespedes was determined to put her newfound knowledge and passion for service and higher education to use. In addition to founding FotoGenic MN, Felipa also began her career in higher education student support services in order to serve under served communities and educate them on the intricacies of the Higher Education System.
