Butch was the star running back at the Trainers Academy High School. Nobody could catch him! But for every hour he practiced, he spent two dedicated to his schoolwork because Butch had more than one dream.

This book tells the story of a young athlete and the challenges he’s faced with. Through his triumphs and setbacks, Butch's story serves as a testament to the power of resilience and the boundless potential within each of us.

About Elmer
Elmer Bailey is a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota. He was a Golden Gopher football player from 1976 to 1980 and an All-Big Ten wide receiver in 1979, selected by the Miami Dolphins in the Fourth Round. He then worked for United Airlines for 35 years (Retired) and became a children's book author. His future plans include making one of his books into an animated movie.
