Underwood Publishing, LLC has just released a new book written by author/entrepreneur Ben Underwood titled A. J. Underwood, Pioneer of Print - The Story of a Minnesota Newspaperman. The paperback is written in a historical, narrative nonfiction genre. The author is available for book events including signings, speeches, and book talks.
Underwood is the great-great grandson of A. J. Underwood who founded a newspaper in 1873.

About Ben
Following graduation from the University of Minnesota in 1978, Ben Underwood worked at his family's newspaper, The Daily Journal, from 1978 to 1986. Following sale of the newspaper to a chain newspaper group, Underwood worked as a financial planner from 1987 to 1998. In 1999, Underwood founded and published Lake and Home Magazine until 2015. Lake and Home Magazine continues under new ownership and accents lake homes and properties in the west-central Minnesota lakes area. The magazine features photo shoots of Minnesota lake homes and architectural stories. In January 2021, Underwood enrolled in The Loft Literary Center's Year-Long Writing Project. His manuscript was accepted by Beaver's Pond Press in September of 2022 and his first book was published in March of 2024.
