About Amanda
Dr. Amanda Bolton is a visionary doctoral-level research leader with 17+ years of expertise in enhancing strategies for Fortune 500 corporations, academia, nonprofits, and government agencies. She is proficient in quantitative and qualitative research, survey development, advanced data analytics, experimental design, and data synthesis.
She holds a Ph.D. & M.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from University of Missouri, St. Louis and a B.A. in Sociology & Psychology from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Amanda’s work on reentry initiatives in Kansas & Michigan Departments of Corrections is published in The Journal of Criminal Justice, earning national recognition. She pioneered a Faculty Innovation Hub to combat Los Angeles community college enrollment declines, evaluated St. Louis substance abuse programs & conducted equity audits in California school districts.
An educator, Amanda has instructed 500+ undergraduates, is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce’s Policy Committee, and on the Board of Directors at Phyllis Wheatley Community Center.
