About Lance
With nearly a lifetime of experience in construction, Lance decided to start his own construction company in 2016. Looking at the word "elegant" in a thesaurus, Lance saw "cultivate" near the bottom. Beyond the agricultural significance, to cultivate is to purposefully develop and improve. Lance fell in love with the word, and Cultivate Construction was born. Lance focuses on operations management, while co-owner Katelyn Fischer handles administrative functions of the business.
Growing up, Lance worked with his dad pouring concrete foundations and doing concrete flatwork. Upon graduating from the U in 2005, Lance was working in commercial construction on the project management track; years later he moved into field management. His construction experience spans residential, commercial, interior, exterior, design, and consulting.
