About Double Pom
Double Pom is a company that encourages fun and community through sport and sportswear. We are a women (3 sister) owned business focused on play and spirit. The Double Pom name comes from our signature product, the return of the pom sock. This time with double the spirit...two poms!
We also offer a crew sock for those who love some color and flair in a different style, with more products to come.
Our high quality socks are manufactured in the United States. We are philanthropic and give back to organizations that provide opportunities to women and youth through sport.

About Gretchen
The Muehlberg sisters always wanted to work together. When they realized there was a void in the market for high quality, affordable spirit wear they seized that opportunity. Laura, the oldest sister and vintage clothing lover, had a strong desire to bring back the playful pom socks of their youth. The signature ankle sock embodies the nostalgia of the pom sock multiplied. Their version is two poms on the back for extra color, style and spirit.
The sisters recognize the importance of fun and play in their lives. Double Pom strives to encourage that through activity and community. The high quality athletic socks are appropriate for bands, teams, sororities and fans alike. There are currently two sock styles available. The ankle sock is the double pom signature with two poms on the back. The crew sock version is a taller sock with double scalloped striping in various color ways. Sisters Laura, Mary and Gretchen intend to grow the product offering over time.
Recognizing the cost of participation in activities is important to Double Pom. They currently contribute to philanthropic organizations that offer opportunities for women and youth to participate in sports or obtain sportswear.
Gretchen, a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota, is the youngest sister. Her professional experience includes demand planning, sales and interior design. Mary, the middle sister, has a background that includes agency-side branding, advertising and public relations. Laura, the oldest sister, worked as a buyer for Tiffany & Co., J. Crew and Bloomingdales.
