We have some exciting news from Joy McBrien (B.S.B. '11, Carlson School of Management), Owner of Fair Anita. Check out her recent announcement:

"Happy Women's History Month! No surprise, but I love March-- reflecting on the inspiring women who have gotten us to where we are today, and thinking about all the present-day womxn who are making incredible things happen. You, of course, are a part of that.

I'm excited to share with you today our Annual Benefit Report. As always, we're reflecting on and reporting our impact from the previous year-- and as we all know, 2020 was a doozy. When the pandemic hit, I didn't know if we would make it; managing international logistics during a global pandemic, and then selling accessories as many of our customers are facing financial hardships... it seemed rather impossible. But, you all stood by our small business and *showed up* for us and our beloved artisan partners.

As a result, we're proud to announce that we sent $377,721.68 in regenerative income to our artisan partners in 2020, plus an additional $75,000 in donations from the sale of face masks.

'We are heartily thankful to Fair Anita, with the fact that during the last difficult months, your orders have immensely contributed and were the lifeline for all of us.' – India

Our work is possible because you, our incredible community, choose to support ethical supply chains, shopping small, and women-centered businesses."
